For a US starting point, compare six options: Zoe Traveler for low published weight, Metro 3 for handlebar adjustment, Chicco Presto and Britax Juniper+ for brand-specific infant-seat setups, plus Aer² and Butterfly 2. Verify the US configuration: the finder clearly labels the market each specification comes from.

Think in pounds, compare in one unit
Our finder lets you switch between kilograms and pounds, and centimetres and inches. Conversions use the same underlying data, so the shortlist does not change merely because the display unit changes.
The Metro 3 is one of the US-sourced entries. Its manufacturer’s FAQ gives a weight of 7.8 kg, while a separate brand comparison article says 7.6 kg. We use the higher figure and flag the difference instead of presenting false precision.
Check the Zoe Traveler dimensions carefully
Zoe lists two folded sizes: 22 × 19 × 10 inches in its support FAQ, and 21.5 × 18.5 × 9.5 inches in its product table after ordering the sides. Our finder uses the larger FAQ measurements, but that choice does not resolve the discrepancy. Confirm your exact model before buying for a tight space.
Check the complete infant-seat setup
Presto uses its included bumper bar for the manufacturer-listed Chicco infant-seat attachment. Juniper+ requires separately sold adapters for compatible infant seats. Confirm the exact stroller, seat and adapter combination; stroller-seat use and newborn travel-system use are different configurations.
Build a US purchase shortlist
Confirm the exact US version, the seller’s included accessories and the final cost in USD. Sales tax, shipping and return shipping can change the decision. A comparison using an Australian or UK seat specification does not establish the suitability of the US version.
Try a lift into your trunk and a fold in a narrow space. When two caregivers share the stroller, test both pushing positions rather than choosing on folded size alone.
Plan the airport handover
American Airlines publishes stroller and car-seat guidance on its travelling-with-children page. Consult the current rule for your itinerary and ask where checked equipment will be returned.
Keep essentials in a separate bag you can take with you. A gate-checked stroller may be unavailable during a connection, so plan for moving through the terminal without it.
