TRAVEL PREPARATION

The travel-pram packing checklist

A short, practical packing list for the pram, airport handover and arrival.

THE QUICK ANSWER

Pack the manufacturer-approved essentials, a suitable protective bag if needed, the local manual, and a separate small bag for anything you will need while the pram is checked.

For the pram

Check what is included with your model before buying extras. Try the full configuration at home so you know whether accessories need to come off for the fold.

  • Approved rain protection suited to your model.
  • A carry or protective bag compatible with the folded size.
  • The manual saved offline and the model details.
  • Only the attachments you actually need.

For airport handover

Take a photo of the pram before travel. Keep your booking details and the relevant airline policy available offline. Empty the basket before handing the pram over.

  • Baggage label and receipt.
  • A plan for carrying your child through the terminal.
  • A separate bag for items needed during the flight or connection.

For your destination

Check the route from arrival to accommodation: stairs, transfer vehicles and walking surfaces can change what matters most. Confirm the return-flight rules too; the next operating airline may differ.
